George Babcock 
George was born in 1673 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island.1 George's father was John Babcock and his mother was Mary Lawton. His paternal grandfather was James Babcock; his maternal grandparents were George Lawton and Elizabeth Hazard. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Job, Elihu, Robert, Joseph, Oliver, Ann and Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 83 on May 1st, 1756 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island.1 -
