‌John and Dorothy Dearborn were married in a religious ceremony in 1831.  They had three sons and four daughters, named John, Henry Dawes, Herbert Melancthon, Caroline Augusta Brooks, Frances Sweet, Ellen Frances and Sarah Anne.
