‌Blanchard and Betsy were married in a religious ceremony on August 5th, 1854 in Peru, New York.  They have four sons and six daughters, named Arthur W., Harvey, Daniel H., Frank Russell, Annette, Ella, Jenny, Laura, Ida Mae and Effa.
