Susan A. was born in 1844 in Epsom, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Susan A.'s father was Moses Straw and her mother was Susan K. Brown. Her paternal grandparents were John Straw and Mary Molly Emerson. She had two brothers named William Henry and James S.. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 70 on December 21st, 1914 in Epsom, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. She was buried in New Rye Cemetery, Epsom, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.-
