Gavin Scoular 
Gavin was born on January 27th, 1796 in Galston, Ayr, Scotland. Gavin's father was Robert Scoular and his mother was Annabella Lauchlan. His paternal grandparents were John Scoular and Janet Hamilton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Matthew, Agnes and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Jean. He died at the age of 81 on January 8th, 1878.-
