Bessie Ellen Sawyer 
Bessie Ellen was born on February 25th, 1859 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Bessie Ellen's father was Luther Sawyer and her mother was Susan Adeline Littlefield. Her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Littlefield and Mary Bartlett Thurston. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Lewis Edgar, Albert Eugene, Orrin Leroy, Harvey Calvin, Luther Jere, Daisy Ada and Susan Mary. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 33 on August 2nd, 1892 in Franklin, New Hampshire.-
