Nehemiah Sargent 
Nehemiah was born in 1736 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. Nehemiah's father was Samuel Sargent and his mother was Abigail Davis. His paternal grandparents were Charles Sargent and Hannah Foote. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Samuel, Abigail, Mary and Miriam. He was the third youngest of the six children.
