Maud Matilda was born in 1192 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales and her baptism took place in 83XC-M5.  Maud Matilda's father was William Marshall and her mother was Isabel De Clare.  Her paternal grandfather was John Fitz Gilbert De CLare and her paternal grandmother is Sibilla de Salsbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow De Clare and Eva Mac Murrough. She had two sisters named Sibil and Isabel.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 56 in 1248.  She was buried in Tintern Abbey, Chapel Hill, Monmouthshire, England.

‌Maud Matilda and Hugh were married in a religious ceremony in 1207 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  They had a daughter named Isabel.


Maud Matilda's second family with William De Warren

‌Maud Matilda and William were married in a religious ceremony before October 13th, 1225.  They had a son and a daughter, named John and Maud.
