John D. Goodwin 
John D. was born on November 7th, 1816 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. John D.'s father was Daniel Goodwin and his mother was Sarah Folsom Heath. His maternal grandparents were Nehemiah Heath and Mary Peaslee. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Henry, Franklin B., Thomas F., William P., Mary Peaslee, Hannah, Sarah Abby and Elizabeth Ann. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 68 on April 16th, 1885 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. He was buried in Kingston, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.-
