Sarah Fordyce was born September 1, 1785 in Parrsboro Township, NovaScotia. It was a year after her father John received a land grant in that community. He had fled the gunshots of the American Revolution. She died in Dunham County, Quebec August 22,1865
Sarah and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony on September 25th, 1805. They had seven sons and six daughters, named Enoch Jefferson, David, William Anson, Samuel Draper, Ruamy Draper, Arthur Wellington, Asa, Betsey, Patience Matilda, Hannah, Amelia Maria, Sarah Emmeline and Olive Lucretia.
