John was born about September 14th, 1246 in Arundel Castle, Arundel, Sussex, England. John's father was John Fitzalan and his mother was Maud de Boteler. His paternal grandparents were John Fitzalan and Isabella D'Albini; his maternal grandparents were Theobald de Botiller and Rohese de Verdun. He was an only child. He died about March 18th, 1272 in England.-
