Erie Colby

Erie was born on June 6th, 1823 in Bog District, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Erie's father was Willoughby Colby and his mother was Betsey M. Morgan. His paternal grandparents were James Colby and Susannah Stewart. He had three brothers named George, Moses and Irad. He is the second youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Amos, Irad, Willaby, Lucinda and Betsey Ann.
