Hollis Coates

Hollis was born in 1840 in Eaton, Quebec, Canada. Hollis' father was Benjamin Coates and his mother was Theodosia Colby. His maternal grandparents are Abner Colby and Elizabeth Ford. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Willis, Phineas Hubard, Orange, Lucretia and Susanna. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 28 in 1868 in Eaton, Quebec, Canada.
