Orville Guy was born on November 14th, 1888 in Philadelphia, Marion, Missouri. Orville Guy's father was John Chatfield and his mother was Matilda Alice Alli Netherland. His paternal grandparents were Nelson Chatfield and Hannah Ward. He had a brother and two sisters, named Earl Raymond, Jewell and Susie Valera. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 95 on March 28th, 1984 in Hannibal, Marion, Missouri. He was buried on March 30th, 1984 in St Judes Cem, Monroe City, Monroe, Missouri.-
