Oliver Dale was born on April 22nd, 1919 in Goodland, Sherman, Kansas. Oliver Dale's father was Eddie Daniel Chatfield and his mother was Myrtle Ruby Drake. His paternal grandparents were Lowell Alfred Chatfield and Lydia Long. He had three brothers and a sister, named Lowell Arthur, Edward Fred, Eddie Dean and Vera June. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 69 on November 22nd, 1988 in Goodland, Sherman, Kansas. He was buried on November 24th, 1988 in Goodland Cem, Goodland, Sherman, Kansas.-
