Nelson Chatfield 
Nelson was born on January 27th, 1840 in Marengo Township, McHenry, Illinois. Nelson's father was Oliver Chatfield and his mother was Charlotte Kimball. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Kimball and Sarah. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Solon, Silas Donald, Jr Chatfield P, Lowell Alfred, Fremont, Louisa, Martha, Jane, Charlotte, Laura Sarah, Josephine and Cornelia. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died after June 7th, 1892.General Notes
