Mattie Florence was born on April 3rd, 1882 in Campton, New Hampshire. Mattie Florence's father was Henry Herbert Brown and her mother was Ella Jane Colby. Her maternal grandparents were John Colby and Martha Page. She had a brother and a sister, named Walter Silas and Carrie. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 97 on December 23rd, 1979 in Concord, New Hampshire.-
