Michael Bacon 
Michael was born in 1579 in Winston, Suffolk, England and his baptism took place there on December 6th, 1579. Michael's father was Michael Bacon and his mother was Elizabeth Wylie. His paternal grandfather was John Bacon and his paternal grandmother is Margaret. He was an only child. He died at the age of 69 on April 18th, 1648 in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.General Notes

"Item I give and bequeath to Michael Bacon my sonne all the ffrehold Lands and Tenemts within Winston aforesaid and all lease lands whatsoever and wheresoever they doe lye"
In 1633, his name appears as one of the signers of the "Dedham Agreement". In Dedham records he is said to have come from Ireland, where he probably went to take passage to America. Tradition says he was a captain of Yeomanry in County Suffolk. In 1644 he granted land to the town of Dedham for a highway.
