Arthur Shirley Atkins 
Arthur Shirley was born on April 29th, 1867 in Duxbury, Washington County, Vermont. Arthur Shirley's father was Willard James Atkins and his mother was Elvira Straw. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Straw and Mary Griffin. He had two brothers and a sister, named Albert S., Almon Stanley and Amanda. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 in 1928 in Roslindale, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.-
