Lucius Edwin Adams 
Lucius Edwin was born on August 31st, 1868 in Oakwood, Oakland County, MI. Lucius Edwin's father was James Gooding Adams and his mother was Ophelia F. Ball. His paternal grandparents were Leonard Adams and Martha Morrill. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jr. Adams Gooding, Herbert James, Myrta Lenora, Harriet Augusta and Edith Viola. Lucius was the County Road Commissioner for Alger County. When his son died he took the death very hard. After Leslie committed suicide Lucius developed diabetes, his hair turned white and he eventually had to have his legs amputated.
