Richard 'The Red' was born in 1262 in Ulster Planatation, Ulster, Ireland.  Richard 'The Red''s father was Walter De Burgh and his mother was Aveline Fitz John.  His paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN UNKNOWN; his maternal grandmother is UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and a sister, named Theobald, Thomas, William and Egidia.  He died at the age of 64 on July 29th, 1326 in Athassel Monastery, Tipperary, Ireland.  He was buried on August 29th, 1326 in Athassel Monastery, Tipperary, Ireland.


Richard 'The Red''s family with Margaret De Burgh

‌Richard 'The Red' and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony before February 27th, 1280 in Lanvalay, Connaught, Ireland.  They had five sons and six daughters, named Walter, John, Thomas, Edmund, William, Elizabeth (Ellen), Maud (Matilda), Catherine (Or Aveline), Joan, Eleanor and Margaret.
