Robert "The Competitor" was born in 1210 in Annandale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland.  Robert "The Competitor"'s father was Robert De Bruce and his mother was Isabella Huntingdon.  His paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN UNKNOWN; his maternal grandmother is UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Beatrice and Isabel.  He died at the age of 85 on April 17th, 1295 in Priory Of Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.  He was buried on April 17th, 1295 in Priory Of Guisburn, Yorkshire, England.

‌Robert "The Competitor" and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony in May 1240 in Scotland.  They had five sons and two daughters, named Bernard, William, Richard, John, Robert, Christiana and Alosia.
