Margaret was born in 1235 in Eastwood, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was John De Montgomerie and her mother is Margaret Murray. Her paternal grandparents were Alan De Montgomerie and Casillis Stair; her maternal grandparents are William Murray and William Murray. She was an only child. She died at the age of 7 in 1242.-
