John York 
John was born about 1752. John's father was Thomas York and his mother was Elinor Aldridge. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Seymour. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James Sr., William, Susanna, Letitshe, Lydithe and Elinor. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died in August 1827 in Randolph Co, NC.-
