Anna Saxony was born in 1282 in Wittenberg, Sachsen, Prussia.  Anna Saxony's father was Albert II Saxony Wittenberg and her mother was Agnes Gertrude of Austria.  Her paternal grandparents were Albert I of Saxony and Helene Brunswick; her maternal grandparents were Rudolf I of Germany and Gertrude Hohenberg. She had three brothers and a sister, named Wenzel Saxony, Albert, Rudolf I Saxony and Elizabeth Saxony.  She died at the age of 45 on November 22nd, 1327 in Wismar, Sachsen, Prussia.  She was buried in 1327 in Wismar, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.
