Wladislaw II was born about 1105 in Krakaow, Poland.  Wladislaw II's father was Boleslaw III Schiefmund Von Polen and his mother was Sbislava Svyatopolkovna of Kiev.  His paternal grandparents were Wladislaw I Von Polen and Judith of Bohemia; his maternal grandfather was Sviatopolk II of Kiev. He had a sister named Agnes of. He had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Boleslaus IV "The Curly" of, Miesko II Der Alte, Henry of, Casimir "The Just" of, Richia, Dobronega of, Judith of, Agnes of and Gertruda of.  He died on May 30th, 1159 in Altenburg, Germany.

‌Wladislaw II and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony in Vienna, Austria.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Boleslaus "The Long" of, Wojciech, Mieszko I, Conrad and Richza.
