Edith Von Nordgau 
Edith was born about 1072 in Equisheim, Haut-Rhin, France. Edith's father was Gerhard II Von Norgdau and her mother was Richarda De Verdon. Her paternal grandparents were Heinrich I of Nordgau and FNU Moha. She was an only child.
Edith and Gerard I were married in a religious ceremony about 1089 in Vaudemont, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France. They had a son and two daughters, named Hugh I, Gisele and Stephanie.
