Mathilde was born in Hertogenbosch, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.  Mathilde's father was Heinrich I der Streitbare Von Brabant and her mother was Mathilde Vom Elsass.  Her paternal grandparents were Godfrey III Lothier and Margaret of Lorraine; her maternal grandparents were Matthew Von Lothringen and Marie Mortain. She had two brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Gottfried of, Heinrich II der Grossmutige, Marie, Mary of, Margarethe, Adelaide (Alix) and Marle.  She died on December 22nd, 1267 in Zuid, Holland, Netherlands.  She was buried in 1267 in Loosduinen, Zuid Holland, Netherlands.

‌Mathilde and Heinrich II Pfalzgraf were married in a religious ceremony about November 1212.


Mathilde's second family with Florens IV Von Holland

‌Mathilde and Florens IV were married in a religious ceremony before December 6th, 1224.  They had two sons and four daughters, named William II, Floris, Aleida, Margaret, Machteld and Adelheid.
