Ludmilla was born about 1170 in Olmutz.  Ludmilla's father was Friedrich Konig Von Bohmen and her mother was Elisabeth Arpad.  Her paternal grandparents were Wladislaw II of Bohemia and Gertrud Von Babenberg; her maternal grandparents were Geza II Arpad of Hungary and Euprhosine Rurikide of Kiev. She had a brother and four sisters, named Wratislaw of, Marketa of, Olga of, Helena of and Sofie of.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died on August 5th, 1240 in Landshut, Niederbayern, Bavaria.

‌Ludmilla and Ludwig I der Kehlheimer were married in a religious ceremony in October 1204 in Kelheim, Niederbayern, Bavaria.  They had a son named Otto II "der Erlauchte".
