Mary Stuart of was born on December 7th, 1542 in Linlithgow, Scotland.  Mary Stuart of's father was James V Stewart of Scotland and her mother was Mary of Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were James IV of Scotland and Margaret Tudor; her maternal grandfather was Claude of Lorraine. She had two half-brothers named James of and John.  She died in (Executed by the English) at Fotheringhay Castle, England.
