Adeliza of was born before 1030 in Rouen, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy.  Adeliza of's father was Robert I of Normandy and her mother was Herleve of Falasia.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard II of Normandy and Judith De Rennes; her maternal grandparents were Fulbert "The Tanner" De Falaise and Duxia (Doda). She had a brother and a sister, named William I of and Adeliza. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert of, Odo of, Emma and Muriel.  She died before 1090.
