William McConnell 
William was born about 1740 in Lancaster, PA. William's father was William McConnell and his mother was Jane Coles. His paternal grandfather was James McConnell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Phillip, Archibald, Robert, James, Mabel, Esther and Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
