William McConnell 
William was born in Lurgan Twp, Cumberland (Frnaklin), PA. William's father was James McConnell. His paternal grandparents were Alexander McConnell and Elizabeth LNU. He was an only child. He died in 1781 in Rowan Co, NC.General Notes

‌William and Jane were married in a religious ceremony about 1739 in Pennsylvania. They had five sons and three daughters, named Phillip, William, Archibald, Robert, James, Mabel, Esther and Ann.

Phillip was born in 1738 in Rowan Co, NC. He died at the age of 40 on September 10th, 1778 in Wounded and died in service of the United States/American Revolution.
