Philippa of was born on March 31st, 1360 in Castle Leicester, Leicestershire, England. Philippa of's father was John of Gaunt and her mother was Blanche Plantagenet. Her paternal grandparents were Edward III Beaufort and Philippa of Hainault; her maternal grandparents were Henry "De Grosmont" Plantagenet and Isabel Beaumont. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, John, Henry IV Bolingbroke of, Elizabeth and Isabel. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, John "Fairborn", Thomas, Henry, Catherine and Joan. She died at the age of 66 in 1426.-
