Fulk of was born in Anjou, France.  Fulk of's father was Foulques "The Brawler" Rechin d'Anjou and his mother was Bertrada De Montfort-l'Amaury.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffroy II "Ferreol" Gatinais and Irmegard De Anjou; his maternal grandparents were Simon I de Montfort l'Amauri and Agnes D'Evereaux.  He was an only child.  He died on November 10th, 1143 in Acre, Jerusalem, Israel.  He was buried in 1143 in Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Jerusalem, Israel.
