Bertha May was born on June 8th, 1882 in Ohio. Bertha May's father was Adam Gramling and her mother was Clara Alice Hoffman. Her paternal grandparents were John Gramling and Sylvenia Snell; her maternal grandparents were Matthias Hoffman and Lucinda Beaver. She had two brothers named Ernest Charles and John Matthias. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 74 on March 30th, 1957. She was buried in 1943 in Heath Cemetery, Colton, Henry, Ohio.-
