John of was born on March 28th, 1340 in Abbey St. Bavon, Ghent, Flanders, Belgium.  John of's father was Edward III Beaufort and his mother was Philippa of Hainault.  His paternal grandparents were Edward II Plantagenet of England and Isabella of France; his maternal grandparents were Willem "The Good" De Hainault and Jeanne De Crepi. He had five brothers named Edward "The Black Prince", William, Lionel of, Edmund of and Thomas of.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died in Leicester Castle, Leicestershire, England.  He was buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, Middlesex, England.


John of's first family with Blanche Plantagenet

‌John of and Blanche were married in a religious ceremony on May 13th, 1359 in Reading, Berkshire England.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Edward, John, Henry IV Bolingbroke of, Philippa of, Elizabeth and Isabel.


John of's second family with Constance of Castile

‌John of and Constance of were married in a religious ceremony on September 21st, 1371 in Roquefort, Guienne, France.  They had a son and a daughter, named John and Catherine.


John of's third family with Katherine De Roet

‌John of and Katherine were married in a religious ceremony in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.  They had three sons and a daughter, named John "Fairborn", Thomas, Henry and Joan.
