Constance of was born in Reims, Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France.  Constance of's father was Louis VI Capet of France and her mother was Adelheid di Savoia.  Her paternal grandparents were Philippe I Capet of France and Bertha Von Friesland; her maternal grandparents were Humbert II de Maurienne & Savoy and Gisele De Macon De Bourgogne. She had seven brothers named Philippe, Louis VII "The Younger", Henri, Robert of, Hugues, Pierre I and Philippe.  She died on August 16th, 1176 in Rheims, Champagne, France.


Constance of's first family with Raimond V de Toulouse

‌Constance of and Raimond V were married in a religious ceremony about 1154.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Raimond VI, Baldwin, Guillaume Taillefer, Alesia and Laura.
