Ada was born in Huntingdon, Huntingdon, England.  Ada's father was Henry Stewart and her mother was Ada of Surrey.  Her paternal grandparents were David I "The Saint" of Scotland and Matilda Margaret De Huntingdon; her maternal grandparents were William De Warenne and Isabel Elizabeth De Vermandois. She had three brothers named William of, David of and Malcolm IV of. She had a half-sister named Avice or Avicia.  She died in Netherlands.


Ada's family with Floris III Holland

‌Ada and Floris III were married in a religious ceremony on August 28th, 1162 in Gravenhage, Zuid Holland, Netherlands.  They had six sons and seven daughters, named Dirk VII, William I, Floris, Boudewijn, Robert, Wilhelm I, Ada, Matilda, Margaret, Beatrix, Elisabeth, Hedwig and Agnes.
