Andronicus I was born about 1118 in Constantinople, Turkey. Andronicus I's father was Isaac Comnenus and his mother was Irene. His paternal grandparents were Alexius I Comnenus and Irini Dukaina. He was an only child. He died on September 12th, 1185 in Constantinople.-
