Mary was born about 1084 in Scotland.  Mary's father was Malcolm III Canmore and her mother was Margaret the Saxon.  Her paternal grandparents were Duncan I "The Gracious" MacCrinan and Sibyl FitzSiward; her maternal grandparents were Edward "The Outlaw" Atheling of England and Agatha of Friesland. She had four brothers and a sister, named Heth, David I "The Saint" of, Alexander I of, Edgar of and Matilda (Edith) of. She had a half-brother named Duncan II of.  She died on May 31st, 1116 in St. Saviors Monastery, Bermondsey, Middlesex, England.  She was buried in Bermondsey, Middlesex, England.
