Alix Alixalade Helie was born in November 1080.  Alix Alixalade Helie's father was Eudes "The Red" of Burgundy and her mother was Mathilde Sibylle Maude of Burgundy.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry of Burgundy and Sybille of Barcelona. She had a half-brother named Hugh II "Le Pacifique".

‌Alix Alixalade Helie and William Talvas Montgomery were married in a religious ceremony about 1115.  They had a daughter named Adele Talvas.
