Alexios III Komnenos Angelos 
Alexios III Komnenos was born in Constantinople, Turkey.1 Alexios III Komnenos' father was Andronikos Dukas Angelos and his mother was Euphrosyne Castamonita. His paternal grandparents were Konstantinos Angelos and Theodora Komnene; his maternal grandparents were Theodorus Kastamonites and Margaretha Von Ungarn. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Theodoros, Ionnis, Andronikos, Konstantinos, Isaakios II, Irini, Zoe and Theodora. He died in 1211 in A monastery in Nicaea.General Notes
Together with his father and brothers, Alexios had conspired against Emperor Andronikos I Komnenos and thus he spent several years in exile in Muslim courts, including that of Saladin.
