Richard Rufus (The Red) de Burgh

Richard Rufus, known as The Red, was born about 1083.  The Red's father is John fitz Eustace (Monoculus(One Eye)) de Burgh and his mother is Magdalen.  His paternal grandfather is Eustace de Burgo. He had two brothers named Eustace fitz John and Payne fitz John.  He is the second oldest of the three children.
