Eustace fitz John was born about 1080 in Knaersborough Castle,Yorkshire,England.  Eustace fitz John's father is John fitz Eustace (Monoculus(One Eye)) de Burgh and his mother is Magdalen.  His paternal grandfather is Eustace de Burgo. He had two brothers named The Red and Payne fitz John.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died in 1157.

They had a son named Richard.
