Susan Alice was born on January 11th, 1872 in Van Zandt Co.,TX.1 Susan Alice's father was Jesse G. *Screws and her mother was Rebecca Jane Jordan. Her maternal grandparents were Nathan Pinckney Jordan Jr. and Rebecca Pricilla *Richardson. She has two brothers and two sisters, named Leonard, John Albert, Lula Jane and Leona. She is the third oldest of the five children. She has a half-brother and a half-sister, named Billie and Lizzie Beth.
