William Jefferson *Jordan

William Jefferson was born about 1861.¹ William Jefferson's father was William H. Jordan and his mother is Jane *Rooks. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Pinckney Jordan Jr. and Mary Motes. He has two brothers and four sisters, named Charlie, John Wright, Laura, Mary Ella, Emma and Benjamin Franklin. He is the fourth oldest of the seven children.
