Count of Holland Pieter *Holland

Pieter was born in 1053 in Vlaardingen,Zuid-Holland. Pieter's father was Count of Holland Floris Holland I and his mother was Countess of Holland Gertrude Saxony. His maternal grandfather was Duke Bernard Saxony II and his maternal grandmother is Elica Schweinfurt. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Albrecht, Dietrich, Adele, Bertha and Machteld. He is the third oldest of the six children. He has a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Robert, Adele and Gertrude.
