Her paternal grandfather is Baldwin (The Pious) *de Flandres V and her paternal grandmother was Princess of France, Comtess d'Auxerre, Contenance, Flanders, Nevers Adela (Alix) Capet; her maternal grandfather was Duke Bernard Saxony II and her maternal grandmother is Elica Schweinfurt. She has a brother and a sister, named Robert and Adele. She is the youngest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Albrecht, Pieter, Dietrich, Adele, Bertha and Machteld.-
