Lois was born on February 11th, 1914 in Ft Worth,Tarrant County,TX.1 Lois' father was Frank Edgar Deen and her mother was Blanche *Turner. Her paternal grandfather was John Ecter *Deen and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Jane McLaren; her maternal grandparents were Bennett Bartholomew Turner and Mary Emma Riddle. She had two brothers and a sister, named Frank Edgar, George Calloway and Esta Faye. She is the oldest of the four children.-
